To help insure sweet dreams and a sweet life Ms. George’s book encourages its readers to appreciate and embrace the diversity of our universe (the stars, moons, planets and plutoids) as well as our wonderful cultural diversity, here on Earth!  For such a message to be conveyed, it would have to come from an unquestionable authority and one who is recognized the world round, and so it is the Sun who offers the answer to the question, “What makes the Earth so special?”  “People!” Said the Sun.

This book is educational, entertaining and inspiring, a must read for children pre-school to third grade.

“It was a great honored to be able to introduce Earth Day a Universal Bedtime Story at the home of the Hayden Planetarium, as it is the very place that inspired my love of Earth Science and began a lifetime of star gazing!  But since every day is Earth Day (here on Earth), I look forward to lots more live presentations!” Exclaimed, Ms. George, President of Global Garden.

If your school or organization is interested in scheduling a live reading, please e-mail or call ~  as every day is Earth Day!

“The chemical companies have been give a green light right through the front door,” he said.

Hackenberg met Wednesday evening with a chief toxicologist from Bayer and, not surprisingly, there was no meeting of minds.

We say we’re losing bees, Hackenberg said, and he says the science doesn’t show it.

“No,” Hackenberg said, “reality does.”
