As a serial entrepreneur and a dedicated student of the natural world, Evan Folds sees the order of things through the lens of living systems. His personal and professional approach leverages regenerative agriculture as the antidote for the big challenges that we face on Earth – climate, hunger, community, poverty, chronic disease, and beyond.
From his consulting platform Be Agriculture (www.BeAgriculture.com) Evan advocates for cooperative business, healing with whole foods, that eating is an agricultural act, and that if we fix the soil, we fix ourselves.
Evan serves as a local elected official with New Hanover Soil & Water Conservation District, and as an international regenerative business consultant with a focus on agriculture. He is active in performing lectures and workshops for farming groups all over the world and is a contributing writer for many reputable growing publications.
He received degrees in biology and religion from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and is most proud of his two children. He has called Wilmington, NC home for the past 25 years.
